Cycle sport post COVID-19 pandemic

Community sport update

Thursday 17th March 2022

The Eureka Cycling COVIDsafe Plan allows which for the club to stage cycling events in accordance with the requirements as prescribed by the Victorian State Government and the DHHS.

As of October 2021, COVID vaccination passports are NOT required to be viewed for participants in community sport.

Eureka Cycling strongly recommends wearing face masks indoors and when social distancing cannot be maintained.

Mandatory COVID requirements:

a) maintain attendance register for each club event

Eureka Cycling is committed to:

  1. maintaining compliance with the pandemic management requirements as determined by the Victorian Government and DHHS
  2. staging cycling events with the relevant permits issued by Local Government and Victoria Police
  3. maintaining our good standing with the local communities whose roads we share and our actions do not damage the reputation of the Eureka Cycling Club

The club has been adapted operations frequently since March 2020 due to the pandemic.

The Eureka Cycling 2022 racing calendar remains flexible to ensure we can stage as many races as possible throughout the season.

Please be sure to keep an eye out on your emails and text messages (Eureka club members ONLY).
